  • Interdisciplinary design student proposal wins Winterset Library Outdoor Art Competition

    07/29/16 AMES, Iowa — A team of Iowa State University interdisciplinary design students has won an international invitational competition to create outdoor public artwork for the Winterset Public Library.     ArchDaily has named architecture Assistant Professor Nick Senske's YouTube channel one of the "Top 12 YouTube Channels for Architects." Two tutorials Senske created specifically for ARCH 230: Design Communications I were cited as among his best. He uses the video tutorials for "flipped classroom" teaching in the recently revised version of this required course for architecture majors. Senske's channel has passed 1 million viewers and 15,000 subscribers.
