Students helping students to succeed

At the College of Design, we strive to see our students succeed from their very first day on campus. We also know that transitioning to college can be challenging. That’s why we pair our first-year students with peer mentors in advanced stages of their studies. These peer mentors provide advice and information to new students, while also promoting and facilitating activities for first-year students.

This program allows advanced students to work alongside professors to ensure the success of first-year students in either one of the two Core Design Program sections or within one of the first-year learning communities.

Peer mentoring opportunities

Want to help make a difference and create an amazing experience for first-year students? Become a peer mentor for students in the Core Design Program sections or one of the first-year learning communities.
