BCx490 Student Exhibition
May 4 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Hosted by Black Contemporary, “BCx490” will feature independent works by architecture students Emily Preston, Arden Stapella and Gabe Yingst produced during their ARCH 490 independent studies with faculty Andrew Gleeson and Pete Goché this spring semester.
Preston’s series of cyanotype surveys explores the atmospheric conditions of the post-industrial landscape. With inspiration from the short stories of Raymond Carver, Stapella creates a performative collage scene. Yingst’s work features multidimensional illustrations captured through various mediums and mark-making techniques.
Visitors are asked to park at the south end of the site, west of 530th Avenue in Ames.
