The Iowa State Memorial Union is hosting the 52nd Annual Focus Grant Exhibit from March 24–April 25 in the Memorial Union Art Gallery. Hours are 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday–Friday 1–4 p.m. Sunday The artists’ reception will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, with a program starting at 6:15 p.m.

Since 1972, students of all majors have applied for funding to do creative projects outside of the classroom. Focus Grant funds support the creation and presentation of new work in visual art, apparel design, writing, theater, dance, and musical performances. This year’s exhibit features pieces by the following students:

Funding for Focus is made possible through Student Government, and awards are determined by a committee of students, faculty and staff representing a broad range of the arts. The Memorial Union is located at 2229 Lincoln Way in Ames on the ISU campus, and paid parking is available in the ramp adjacent to the building. Both the MU Art Gallery and the artists’ reception are open to the public. The art gallery is located on the 1st floor and has free admission.
