Research Interests

Landscape theory; the relationship between systems of landscape representation, mass media, and consumer culture; the history of ideas and debates about color in landscape architecture; the socio-political-ecological system of urban public space and infrastructure; and contemporary landscape design in the age of virtual media and culture
