Research Interests
My work explores ways in which furniture supports the rituals of daily life, the potential for these forms to enlarge human experience and perception of interior and exterior places, and the multifarious qualities of wood. I am also interested in how artists and designers generate new ideas, translate them into forms that can be shared, and shape them into finished works.
