Research Interests

Land-use law; state and local regulation of the development process; hazard mitigation planning and floodplain regulation; intergovernmental cooperation and contracting; the mediation of land-use disputes.

Current Projects

Currently updating the Iowa Land Use Planning Notebook (authored in 2007).
