Curt F. Dale Guest Lecture in Architecture

Traumnovelle was founded by Belgian architects Léone Drapeaud, Manuel León Fanjul and Johnny Leya, who use architecture as analytical and critical tools to emphasize contemporary issues and dissect their resolutions. They champion a multidisciplinary approach with architecture at the crossroads. Leya will present the Curt F. Dale Guest Lecture in Architecture at 4 p.m. Friday, April 5, in Kocimski Auditorium.

The Curt F. Dale Guest Lecture in Architecture was established in 2003 in memory of 1969 Iowa State architecture alumnus Curt F. Dale, who died in a skiing accident that year. Dale’s family and his firm, AndersonMasonDale Architects, Denver, Colorado, created the endowed fund for the Iowa State University architecture department to bring distinguished practitioners to campus as guest lecturers.

This year’s lecture is part of the Department of Architecture’s Public Programs series, “Of the Land.” Read more in the news release
