Vivian Cook (BA 2019 Performing Arts & French), graduate student in community development and sustainable agriculture, is the 2022 curator in residence at the Octagon Center for the Arts in Ames.

A community-engaged performing artist, Cook explores the intersection between arts, community engagement and sustainability. She is a member of The EcoTheatre Lab and Ames Climate Action Team. Her most recent projects include working as community engagement director for ISU Theatre’s and The EcoTheatre Lab’s “Climate Change Theatre Action 2021” and as project director for The EcoTheatre Lab’s “The Art of Climate Planning”
