Ulrike Passe, an Iowa State University associate professor of architecture and director of the ISU Center for Building Energy Research, presented ISU Sustainable Cities team research at the National Science Foundation-funded RCN-SHBE Workshop VIII on the Integration of a Human Dimension in Product and Process Modeling in the Creation of Resilient and Sustainable Human-Building Ecosystems May 17-18 at Carnegie Mellon University. She presented a hybrid physics data modeling framework integrating human behavior and thermo-physical data into the group’s neighborhood energy mode.
