Shelby Doyle, associate professor of architecture and Stan G. Thurston Professor in Design Build, and Olivia Valentine, assistant professor of art and visual culture, have been selected as participants in Haystack’s two-week Open Studio Residency from May 29–June 10. The Haystack Mountain School of Crafts is an international craft school located on the Atlantic Ocean in Deer Isle, Maine. Supported by Haystack’s Windgate Foundation Endowment for Programs, the residency is designed to foster artistic exploration at the highest level, and those selected attend for free.
