Shelby Doyle, associate professor of architecture and Stan G. Thurston Professor in Design Build, is the president-elect of ACADIA (the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture), an international network of digital design researchers and professionals. The organization facilitates critical investigations into the role of computation in architecture, planning and building science, encouraging innovation in design creativity, sustainability, and education. Doyle will serve a one-year term beginning in January 2023.
