Shelby Doyle, assistant professor of architecture, is one of 16 shortlisted candidates for the multidisciplinary research project “The Digital Now: Architecture and Intersectionality.” Funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, “The Digital Now” explores how digital design intersects with the simultaneous relations between race, class, gender, ability and sexuality. The group will meet virtually during the week of Feb. 1 to share their work and question the ways in which digital architectural production and social identity formation are intertwined.
