“Implementing design thinking to drive innovation in technical design,” a journal article by Seda McKilligan, professor of industrial design and College of Design associate dean for academic programs, and her colleagues from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, has been published in International Journal of Design Creativity and Innovation. The study highlights potential adaptations of design thinking in traditionally technology/engineering-focused product development contexts.
