“Create, Design, and Innovate: Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship in Learning Technologies,” a proposal by Seda McKilligan, Iowa State University associate professor of industrial design and associate dean of academic programs in the College of Design, with colleagues from the School of Education, Center for Technology in Learning and Teaching and Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, has received a grant from the College of Human Sciences Innovative Teaching Initiatives funding program. This two-year grant targets integrating design thinking and entrepreneurship as the essential skills and frameworks for the teacher education pedagogy.
