An interdisciplinary group of students, faculty and alumni led by Iowa State University architecture lecturer Reinaldo Correa has developed eight proposals for outdoor games for Reiman Gardens’ “Nature of the Game” exhibit, which will open April 27, 2019. In addition to Correa, the project team consists of 10 architecture and one industrial design undergraduate student, a mechanical engineering PhD student and a structural engineering alumnus. Fabrication of the eight proposals, which include oversized tile puzzles, a biome scavenger hunt, food web chess, a “BEEd” maze and more, will begin in January.
