Empty Dresses, an exhibition of mixed-media artworks by Paula Streeter, a lecturer in art and visual culture at Iowa State University, will be on display May 25 through June 30 in the Community Gallery at the Octagon Center for the Arts in Ames. A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 1, in conjunction with the Ames Main Street Cultural District’s ArtWalk, and Streeter will hold a historic media workshop on Saturday, June 2.
