“Examining heat inequity in a Brazilian metropolitan region,” an article by Meen Wook Jung (MCRP 2022 Community & Regional Planning), a PhD student in city and regional planning at Ohio State University; Monica Haddad, professor of community and regional planning; and Brian Gelder, adjunct assistant professor of community and regional planning, was published in Environment and Planning B: Urban Analytics and City Science. The article examines the spatial relationships between heat risk, urban form composition and vulnerable social groups in Brazil’s Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region.
