Mitchell Squire, professor of architecture, is featured in “A ‘Celebration of Blackness,'” a Des Moines Magazine article by Christine Riccelu about the Des Moines Art Center’s new Black Stories exhibition, and a companion piece titled “Sharing Stories.” Drawn from the art center’s permanent collections, the Black Stories show opens Oct. 7 and was co-curated by Squire and fellow central Iowa artist Jordan Weber.
