Six illustration entries by Miriam Martincic, assistant teaching professor of graphic design, were accepted into the 63rd ADAI (Art Directors of Iowa) Design Exhibition. Three of her entries were honored with awards.
“Happy Healthy Holidays” (illustration and animation for the College of Design) received a Judges Choice, one of the top awards of the evening. Michael Miller, College of Design director of operations, also was credited for his work with the animation. Martincic’s “TinyMan for President” (illustration and design for I-Beam Books) won Best of Category in book design and her “Long Seasons I” won Best of Category in unpublished.
