A new article in the Des Moines Register showcases the work of Jennifer Drinkwater, Iowa State University assistant professor of art and visual culture, community arts extension specialist and Iowa Arts Council Fellow. Her project, “168 hours,” is a series of cross-stitched covers from Time and People magazines that juxtapose the intense but fleeting attention the public gives these images and topics during their short time on the newsstand.
