“Red Dream” (71″ x 39″ x 39″, ceramic, wood, ice, unfired clay, sheet metal) by Ingrid Lilligren, professor of art and visual culture, will be included in the Underneath Everything: Humility and Grandeur in Contemporary Ceramics exhibition at the Des Moines Art Center. An opening reception will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 2. Lilligren will give an artist’s talk at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27.
