Francis Owusu, professor and chair of the Iowa State University Department of Community and Regional Planning, will present a keynote address on “An Overview of the Human, Political, Economic and Geographical Diversity of Africa” at 7 p.m. Monday Jan. 28, in the University Student Union’s Volstorff Ballroom at South Dakota State University. His address is part of a two-day symposium on “Africa: Diversity, Myths, Successes and Challenges” sponsored by the South Dakota World Affairs Council.
