Firat Erdim

A collaborative work by Firat Erdim, assistant professor of architecture, with composer Manuel Perez III and the Laptop Ensemble will premiere Wednesday, May 4, at the Toneburst Festival in Middletown, Connecticut. The festival will run from noon–6 p.m., traversing a series of sites through the city. Perez has scored this piece for an ensemble of Walking Harps, active aeolian harps that Erdim built for this piece, and live electronics performed by the Laptop Ensemble.
