Douglas Spencer, associate professor and director of graduate education in the Iowa State University Department of Architecture, will present a guest lecture on “Instantiating Opportunism: Architecture, Neoliberalism and the Archaeology of the Platform” at the opening event for Platform Austria — the Austrian entry in the Venice Architecture Biennale 2020 — Monday, Nov. 25, at the Center for Architecture in Vienna.
