Doug Spencer, an associate professor and director of graduate education for the Iowa State University Department of Architecture, and Keller Easterling, director of the environmental design master’s program at Yale University, will address the topic of “Platform” as part of the “Un-Working” series at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Michigan. The event, scheduled from noon – 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, will feature presentations by Spencer and Easterling followed by student workshops that interrogate the social, political, financial and technological platforms of design and their implications for architectural labor.
