Critique of Architecture: Essays on Theory, Autonomy and Political Economy, a book by Doug Spencer, Pickard Chilton Professor and director of graduate education in the Department of Architecture, has been published by Birkhäuser. This work presents a renewed and radical theorization of the relations between capital and architecture.
Spencer recently discussed his book with Keefer Dunn in an interview for WLPN Lumpen Radio and has a launch event for the publication at 12:30 p.m. CT Tuesday, March 16, hosted by the Architectural Association, London. A further online launch event will be presented by Arch+ and Birkhäuser at noon CT Thursday, March 18.
