Daejin Kim, assistant professor of interior design, and Simone Bove, Rome Program visiting instructor, were interviewed for a story in the Charles City Press, “ISU students offer Charles City  ideas on how to make homes more age-friendly.”

Kim was also featured in “AARP and Iowa State University partnering on pilot housing renovation program in Charles City,” a segment on KIMT 3 News, and in “ISU interior design students present home modifications for aging adults,” a story in the Mason City Globe Gazette, about the same aging-in-place pilot project with residents of Charles City in partnership with AARP Iowa.

Kim developed the project, which includes students in the sophomore residential design class taught by Bove, Eunjung Choi, Jae Hwa Lee and Nicole Peterson.
