Daejin Kim, assistant professor of interior design, will participate in a panel discussion on “Making the Home Work to Age in Place” as part of the Cedar Rapids Gazette’s Iowa Ideas 2022 Virtual Conference Aging in Iowa In-Depth Week.
The number of Iowans age 65 and older continues to grow. This in-depth week will explore the key issues and critical resources required to ensure this demographic is safe, secure and thriving in Iowa. “Making the Home Work to Age in Place” will focus on efforts to understand the needs and physical requirements for older Iowans to be able to stay at home as they age.
