In the Air, an exhibition of photographs by Christine Carr, Iowa State University assistant professor of art and visual culture, is on display Aug. 27 through Oct. 21 at the Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography, University of La Verne, La Verne, California. Carr’s first solo show features her photographic investigation of the instances and processes that give rise to airborne particles. She will give an artist’s talk Thursday, Oct. 4. The In the Air project was supported by a grant from the ISU Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities.
