Catherine Reinhart, the artist-in-residence and manager of the Iowa State University Design on Main Gallery, has been invited to participate in the 2018 Pentaculum in the Fibers Studio, an institutional residency from Dec. 31, 2017, through Jan. 6, 2018, at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Reinhart also was awarded a Micro Grant from Grin City Collective for her “Bricks & Blocks” exhibition April 17 through May 25, 2018, at the Stewart Gallery in Grinnell, Iowa. This exhibition will include fiber works and a site-responsive installation created in collaboration with members of the community and Grinnell College students. An artist reception will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018.
