Amy Logan, a research scientist with the Institute for Design Research and Outreach and GIS Support and Research Facility, will present “Discovering Earth as Art” Friday, Oct. 7, at the Art Educators of Iowa Fall Conference in Davenport. This interdisciplinary talk will use art and science to engage audiences and challenge them to view the beauty of earth from a different lens through the Earth as Art program and other geospatial related resources. Art educators will come away with new ideas and resources that they can use in their classrooms.
