In celebration of Earth Science Week (Oct. 8–14), the ISU GIS Support and Research Facility will host a Geospatial Career Day from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, in 206 Durham. A number of GIS professionals representing a variety of fields including transportation, geography, physical science, community development, agriculture and private industry, among others, will give short presentations on their jobs and career paths. Guests can mingle and ask questions.

Students can also learn about the geographic information science (GISC) minor and GIS graduate certificate program, and several organizations will be on hand to discuss internship opportunities

Lunch refreshments will be provided.
