“Colorado Rock” (digital print, 15″ x 15″, 2017) by Carol Faber, associate professor of graphic design, received Best Color Work Award in the Color of Korea “Natural Color” Exhibition: 2017 International Invitational Exhibition of Color Works at Hangaram Art Gallery in Seoul, South Korea. The image is published on page 18 of the exhibition catalog.
“Using creative exhaustion to foster idea generation,” an article by Seda McKilligan, associate professor of industrial design, with colleagues from Purdue University and the University of Michigan, has been published in the International Journal of Technology and Design Education. Read more

Hester, Jeffrey Hou, Laura J. Lawson and Marcia J. McNally.
“Empty Dresses,” a series of mixed-media artworks by Paula Streeter, lecturer in art and visual culture, is featured in New Letters Magazine, Vol. 84, No. 1, Fall 2017 (posted online in January 2018). The Fall 2017 issue includes an essay by Streeter and eight of her images inside and one on the cover — “Bruised” (colored pencil on toned paper, “Empty Dresses: Handled,” 2016). Read more
