The Office for Responsible Research (ORR) is launching a training program this spring for faculty, staff, and students who may conduct research involving human subjects. There will be two types of training offered. The ORR will provide a standing, monthly training covering the basics of navigating the approval process for research with human subjects. Additionally, the ORR will offer a 4-part series (one seminar held each quarter) addressing different components of such research.
These events will be valuable for graduate students, new faculty, and even those who have previously conducted research using human subjects. The first of the regular monthly seminars will take place on Thursday, February 9 at 11:00 am in the Ensminger Room in Kildee Hall. Those who are interested can register through the Learn@ISU system. Additional information and registration information for the 4-part series will be forthcoming.
