Abstract: | The National Creative Placemaking Fund is looking for projects that use arts and culture to effect change in a geographic community. A project should include the following: Focus on a neighborhood, town, village, or other geographic community Looks to work on a community challenge or opportunity related to agriculture/food; economic development; education’/youth; environment/energy; health; housing; immigration; public safety; transportation; or workforce development. Has a way that artists, arts organizations, and/or arts and culture activities can help address that challenge or opportunity Will have a way of knowing whether the project has made progress on the challenge.
