Accepting applications for NSF I-Corps
Please share this information with your faculty, DOGES, graduate students, post-docs and scientific staff.
As you may be aware from recent announcements (http://www.vpresearch.iastate.edu/index.cfm/47530/43671/iowa_state_named_nsf_innovation_corps_site) ISU is an NSF I-Corps site. This program funds the establishment of innovation sites to prepare scientists and engineers, graduate students and post-docs to extend their focus beyond the university laboratory and facilitate a transitioning of ideas from basic-research projects to impactful societal benefits.
We are ready to launch ISU’s I-Corps program and are now accepting applications for the first cohort of I-Corps teams. The online application can be accessed at http://www.vpresearch.iastate.edu/documents/filelibrary/ISU_ICorps_Application_DB2C740C2A6FF.pdf. Background information and a copy of the presentation made at the informational meetings can also be accessed at http://www.vpresearch.iastate.edu/documents/filelibrary/ICorps_Site_Presentation_91117_EF7D1CAA0F953.pdf.
