Research Interests
Yijun’s research is driven by a commitment to advancing the field of landscape architecture through the integration of data science, spatial analysis, and computational techniques. Her research focuses on addressing the contemporary challenges of urbanization, climate change, and social and ecological inequality with advanced spatial analytical and computational techniques. Her work generally considers three main themes: urban green space, landscape sustainability, and data science that responds to the need for a hybrid, urban-natural systems (McHarg-ian) approach to design.
