AMES, Iowa — Three Iowa State University graphic design students have been selected to participate in the Meredith Apprentice Program for the 2021-22 academic year. They include senior Jesse Benbrook, from Bartlett, Illinois, and juniors Lindsay Castleman, from Duluth, Minnesota, and Anna Cooper, from Ames.

Part of the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication’s partnership with Meredith Corporation, the program places Iowa State students in yearlong apprenticeships at a leading national media company. All apprenticeships are remote this year until further notice due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Benbrook, who is minoring in advertising, will apprentice with Midwest Living magazine. Castleman, who is minoring in journalism, will apprentice with Meredith Agrimedia. Cooper, who is minoring in digital media, will apprentice with AllRecipes. Read more about the program and these students.
