Design Camp
The College of Design at Iowa State University offers an immersive, synchronous online experience that provide youth with a sense of what it is like to be a student in the college. Our camp is a collaboration between the College of Design and ISU Extension & Outreach.
Virtual Design Dimensions June 21-July 2, 2021
Design Dimensions focuses on 2D, 3D and 4D thinking across disciplines. Our camp is appropriate for students interested in all programs offered by the College of Design: architecture, studio/fineĀ arts, community and regional planning, graphic design, interior design, industrial design and landscape architecture
- For students entering 9th through 12th grades and 2021 high school graduates
- Opportunities available for Science Bound students
- 10 workshops, one provided M-F from 9am-12pm CST over two weeks allowing time to work on projects
- Gallery presentation for final session on Friday July 2, 2021
- Ability to join camp online live and receive feedback from our faculty or watch at a later date or time
- All supplies provided for domestic students; international students receive supply list

- $325 US residents (includes supply kit mailed to US address)
- $255 International (supply list provided)

Cancellation Policy:
- Domestic participants: Full refund for all cancellations made prior to May 31, 2021. A total of $265 will be refunded for cancellations made May 31-June 15 to reflect cost for materials. No refunds after June 15.
- International registrants: Full refund for cancellations prior to June 15, 2021. No refunds after June 15.
