Spring 2025 Procession of Forms
April 4 @ 1:10 pm - 2:00 pm


The spring 2025 Procession of Forms is an experimental project created by students in the first-year Design Studies 1020 studios. They will wear, carry, roll, fly, or otherwise transport their large-scale sculptural forms in a coordinated “processional performance” from 1:10–2 p.m. Friday, April 4, around the Iowa State University campus. The community is invited to stop by and observe the parade.
Procession Schedule
The procession will start at 1:10 p.m. on the front lawn of the College of Design. Groups will proceed around campus, parading by Sweeney Hall, Morrill Hall, Curtiss Hall, Beardshear Hall, and Howe Hall before returning to the College of Design by 2 p.m.
