The “New Perspectives in Graphic Design” exhibition will be on view Nov. 6–14 in Gallery 181, located on the first floor of the College of Design. An opening reception will be from 5–7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The show will feature posters, video projection  and physical items like booklets and laser-cut objects created by graphic design graduate students Lucy Hiegata, Emily Hodges, Grace Lee and Mira Jung.

Pieces will explore visualizing data-driven soil information through an immersive sensory experience; creating an online archive to address the historical and thematic developments of graphic design in Korea; exploring the intersection of design, traditional crafting and digital integration through material reuse; and exploring the experience of growing up mixed-race using animation and mixed media.
