Work created by current Iowa State students and recent graduates will be featured in the “Effervescence” exhibition, which will be on display June 2–23 on the third floor of Mainframe Studios, 900 Keosauqua Way in Des Moines. An opening reception will be from 5–8 p.m. Friday, June 7, in conjunction with Mainframe Studios’ First Friday event.

Curated by College of Design gallery manager Rachel Connell, the show highlights perspectives from Iowa State University’s LGBTQIA+ student community and allies.
