The College of Design’s Institute for Design Research and Outreach (IDRO) will sponsor the “IDRO Monday Research Seminar: Presentations on Fieldstead & Company Endowment for Community Enhancement Award” from 12:10–1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in 130 Design. The session will be led by Monica Haddad, professor of community and regional planning, and Julie Stevens, associate professor of landscape architecture.

The two will speak about their individual projects that were funded through the Fieldstead & Company Endowment for Community Enhancement Award. Haddad will speak about her project “Climate Planning in Iowa Communities,” and Stevens will speak on “Trauma-Informed Design in Theory and in Practice.”

Monday Research Seminars are sponsored by IDRO and open to all.
