Help honor the six recipients of the ISU Alumni Association’s Faculty-Staff Inspiration Award on Friday, May 17, at the ISU Alumni Center. Light appetizers and a cash bar will be available from 5:15 p.m.–6:15 p.m. A program recognizing award recipients and outgoing ISUAA board members will begin at 6:15 p.m. Register online by noon Friday, May 10.

The award presents a way for former students to recognize current or former ISU faculty and staff members who had a significant influence in their student lives at Iowa State. The 2024 award recipients are: Sarah Bennett-George, apparel, merchandising and design program; Lisa Fontaine, graphic design; Ahmed Kamal (posthumous), electrical and computer engineering; Karen Miskell-Larson (retired), ISU Dining; Massimo Marengo, physics and astronomy; and Katherine Rafferty, communication studies program.
