Several College of Design students and alumni are among 190 professional and emerging artists selected to participate in the Des Moines Arts Festival June 28–30 at Western Gateway Park in downtown Des Moines. Hours are 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29, and 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday, June 30.

Mary Christian (BFA 2013 Graphic Design); graphic design graduate student Mira Jung; Lynn Krause (BA 1984 Graphic Design); Jen Lawler (BFA 1995 Art & Design) and Chris Vance (BFA 2000 Visual Studies) will exhibit their work in the professional artists category.

Audrey Stirling (BFA 2023 Integrated Studio Arts) is an Emerging Iowa Artist and Pam Hibbs (BFA 1989 Art & Design) is an Emerging Artist at this year’s event.
