College of Design students, staff and faculty are invited to join the open discussion from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the fourth-floor triangle at the northeast end of the building.

This semester’s discussion topic will be: “Safety: What does safety mean and feel like?”

Open discussions are intended for us to come together to discuss a variety of timely topics, celebrate progress, identify issues, create solutions, learn, and share resources. Programming is coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Student Success and the DEI Committee. Through this event, the College of Design aims to uphold the college’s commitment to a culture of care. Lunch will be provided.
