The Collaborative Housing Symposium: Foundation for a Stronger Iowa — formerly known as the Rural Housing Readiness Assessment (RHRA) Conference — will be held from 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center in Ames. Hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach’s Community and Economic Development unit, the symposium will complement and enhance the RHRA process through a combination of workshops, keynotes, and a range of networking opportunities designed to get attendees sharing ideas for improving housing quality, access, and affordability in their communities.
