May 18, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT

Event Navigation

Firat Erdim, ISU assistant professor and Daniel J. Huberty Faculty Fellow in Architecture, will present “Lines and Misdemeanors,” a virtual lecture via Zoom, as part of the Dirty Drawings Wednesday Talks series hosted by Istanbul Kent University.

Abstract

What does a line know and how does it know it? In this talk, Erdim will relate a series of lines — lines that point, lines that hold, singing lines and lines that bleed through — from works and projects that situate the imaginary of drawing in the particularities of place and materiality.

The public lecture will begin at noon CDT. Join the Zoom meeting at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85852560239?pwd=TmlHUWVUTUd2SFhCaStNczJSNi9OQT09, meeting ID: 858 5256 0239, passcode: 339250
