BArch Textile Installation – Independent Study by Mae Murphy & Cameron Wahlberg

April 16, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm CDT

Event Navigation

Stop by the King Pavilion to see a textile installation by fifth-year architecture students Mae Murphy and Cameron Wahlberg! Join us from noon–3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, for an exhibition and celebration of the work.

The textile was fabricated on the new Stoll CNC Knitting machines at the Student Innovation Center as part of an independent studio with Shelby Doyle, associate professor of architecture and Stan G. Thurston Professor in Design Build.

Thank you to Dayon Royster and Wade Warman of the SIC Electronics, Textiles, and 3D Printing Shop for their support in making this happen and Olivia Valentine, assistant professor of art and visual culture, for sharing her textile knowledge.
